Dr. Mechelle Greenspan, L.Ac. (she/her)
Dr. Mechelle Greenspan is the founder of Sacred Fortune and a Doctor of Acupuncture, herbalist, and holistic health practitioner devoted to women’s reproductive and hormonal wellness. A California Licensed Acupuncturist and Nationally Board-Certified practitioner, she offers a refined, integrative approach to care that honors both the science of medicine and the quiet intelligence of the body.
Her work is rooted in creating an atmosphere of calm, trust, and deep restoration. Patients are welcomed into a serene, thoughtfully curated space where soft light, natural textures, and grounding aromas invite the nervous system to settle. With a focus on fertility, pregnancy, postpartum care, and hormonal balance, Dr. Mechelle provides meticulously tailored treatments designed to support each individual through every phase of life. Drawing from classical modalities—including acupuncture, herbal medicine, cupping, and gua sha—her treatments are both precise and intuitive, bridging ancient wisdom with modern clinical insight.
Dr. Mechelle’s philosophy is shaped by an early connection to the natural world. Raised in the countryside, she developed a deep reverence for life’s rhythms through time spent tending gardens and caring for animals—the scent of earth, the changing seasons, and the quiet observation of growth informing her understanding of balance and vitality. This foundation continues to guide her practice, where the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Taoist philosophy support a holistic, cyclical approach to healing.
She is a Fellow of the Acupuncture and TCM Board of Reproductive Medicine (ABORM) and has pursued advanced training in reproductive health, pelvic care, trauma-informed healing, and cosmetic acupuncture. Her studies have taken her internationally to Beijing, China, where she further refined her clinical approach. Her doctoral research at Yo San University, “Acupuncture as a Means to Promote Full Term Vaginal Delivery,” reflects her commitment to supporting physiologic birth and preserving the integrity of the birthing experience.
Since 2012, Dr. Mechelle has cultivated a loyal community of patients throughout Los Angeles, offering care that is both deeply therapeutic and quietly transformative. Her practice serves as a sanctuary—an intentional pause from the outside world—where healing unfolds with presence, softness, and care.
Outside of her clinical work, she finds inspiration in travel, art, music, and unhurried moments spent with family, friends, and her beloved dogs.
